How do I rename an eSIM on my device?

Most smartphones allow you to store multiple eSIM profiles and rename them for easier identification. Your device will assign a default label during installation, but you can change it anytime in your settings.

We recommend choosing a name that helps you recognize the plan quickly (e.g., eSIMNum, Japan Travel eSIM, etc.).

Below are the steps for each device type:

iOS Devices (iPhone)

1. Open Settings
2. Tap Cellular / Mobile Data
3. Under SIMs, tap the eSIM you want to rename
4. Tap Cellular Plan Label
5. Select a suggested label or enter your own under Custom Label
6. Tap Done

Samsung Galaxy Devices

1. Open Settings
2. Tap Connections
3. Tap SIM card manager
4. Select the eSIM profile you want to edit
5. Tap Name (or the pencil icon)
6. Enter the new label
7. Tap Done

Google Pixel Devices

1. Open Settings
2. Tap Network & Internet
3. Tap SIMs
4. Select the eSIM you want to edit
5. Tap the pencil icon
6. Rename your eSIM (you can also change the label color)
7. Tap Save

Your eSIM will now show the updated label. You can rename it anytime if your needs change.
