How to resolve Android eSIM no net problems?
Android devices vary by brand, but the core steps are consistent. Follow the guide below to resolve most connectivity issues.
Confirm your eSIMNum plan is activated
Go to Settings > Connections > SIM Manager and ensure your eSIM is active and enabled.
Turn off Wi-Fi
Disable Wi-Fi from Settings > Connections > Wi-Fi to force mobile data registration.
Ensure the eSIM is active and selected for mobile data
- Go to Settings > Connections > SIM Manager
- Toggle your eSIM On
- Go to Mobile Data and set the eSIM as the default data SIM
Enable Data Roaming
Go to Settings > Connections > Mobile Networks > Data Roaming and turn it On.
Restart your device
Restart normally or hold power until the device restarts.
Switch preferred network mode from 5G to 4G/LTE
Go to Settings > Mobile Networks > Preferred Network Type and choose LTE/4G.
Toggle Airplane Mode
Turn Airplane Mode On for 15 seconds, then Off.
Configure APN (if required)
Some networks require a manual APN setup. Go to: Settings > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names > Add
APN: esim Leave other fields blank. Save and select this APN.
Manually select a carrier
Go to Settings > Mobile Networks > Network Operators, turn off automatic selection, and choose the recommended network.
Reset network settings (last option)
Go to: Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset Network Settings
Reconnect the eSIM afterward and re-enable roaming/APN settings.
