Why can’t I transfer my eSIM to new device?
eSIMs are designed for single-device use. Once an eSIM is activated on a device, it becomes permanently tied to that device and cannot be moved or reinstalled on another phone.
Unlike physical SIM cards, which can be removed and reused, eSIMs create a secure, encrypted profile during activation. This ensures your eSIM is protected and prevents it from being copied or shared.
For travel or single-use eSIM plans, once installed, the eSIM cannot be transferred. If you switch to a new device, you will need to purchase a new eSIM plan.
