I scanned the QR code but got “This code is no longer valid”.

This message usually appears when the eSIM you are trying to add has already been installed on your device, or if the QR code scan was incomplete due to connectivity issues.

How to check if your eSIM is already installed

  1. Open Settings > General > About.
  2. Scroll down to view your installed eSIMs.
  3. If your eSIMNum line is listed and turned on, it is already active on your device.

⚠️ Note: If an eSIM has been removed previously, it cannot be reinstalled using the same QR code.

Steps to successfully install your eSIMNum

  1. Disable any VPN VPNs may interfere with eSIM activation.
  2. Ensure a stable internet connection A weak connection can cause incomplete scanning of the QR code.
  3. Remove unused eSIMs Having too many eSIMs on your device can prevent new activations.
  4. Update your device software Make sure your device is running the latest version of iOS or Android.
  5. Try an alternative installation method If scanning the QR code fails, try installing the eSIM using the manual installation method provided in your eSIMNum instructions.
